Marianas Trench Marine National Monument posters for free download

The posters I created for NOAA as part of my fall science illustration internship are now available for download. Given the lesson plans they link to, they are intended for middle to high school classrooms… But I think ocean lovers of all ages might enjoy them!

A limited run of these color art prints of the Intertidal Seaweed Co. kombu and wakame designs will be available soon at their stand at the Fort Mason farmer’s market and website. I loved working on this project with Tessa and am happy these will be out there soon, alongside their yummy and sustainable seaweed. (Thanks to John @thegreathighway for printing!)

I started this phase of being an artist over 10 years ago when I decided to paint an annual holiday card for friends and family. I lost my Mom just before the holidays last year, and just didn’t have it in me. A year plus later, it’s nice to be getting my mojo back. Wishing everyone a little extra beauty this season.
