I took a great class back in March at Case for Making in the Outer Sunset. I learned how to make my own earth pigments, and also got some tips on different washes, brush techniques, and mixing colors.
A dog portrait gift
This winter, I worked on a painting of my mom's dog, Maverick, for her birthday. I think we were all pleased with how it came out, Mav included! (And, I used watercolors I made at www.caseformaking.com)
